ENFORCEMENT OF THE NEW LAW ON ROAD TRAFFIC SAFETY

As of November 24, 2009, DDOR Novi Sad has started to distribute to all motor vehicle owners within its branches and in the technical examination booths, the forms of the European Report on Traffic Accident. As of December 10, which is when the pertinent statutory provision enters into force, all drivers shall be obliged to keep the form in their vehicles, along with the MTPL insurance policy. The form shall be used (completed) in case of a traffic accident.

		The vehicle owners who possess DDOR Novi Sad MTPL insurance policies being valid after December 10, 2009, may obtain their copy of the form in the nearest DDOR Novi Sad branch.
		The vehicle owners must either memorize their policy number, or bring along their MTPL insurance policy. The newly insured parties, and the ones renewing their insurance policies shall obtain the form with the MTPL insurance policy. The forms are free of charge.
