Accident insurance is a popular and attractive form of economic protection of the insured and his family against adverse consequences of an accident.

What risks are persons insured against?

This insurance may be stipulated to cover:

  • death by accident,
  • permanent disability,
  • death by illness,
  • temporary disability (daily allowance),
  • deterioration of health that requires medical help (medical expenses)

You can make a risk combination of your choice. Full insurance protection is ensured by stipulating insurance against all stated risks.

The amount of sum insured

We all know that man's life and health have no price. However, when an accident occurs, money shall be needed to cover extra expenses.

The amount of indemnity payable to the insured in case an accident occurs is determined by the stipulated sum insured, the amount of which is up to you. The higher this amount is the higher the amount of the benefit.

What does the amount of premium depend on?

The premium amount depends on the amount of the sum insured. The amount of premium is also closely related to the occupation of the insured i.e. the class of risk his organisation belongs to.

What is a collective combined insurance of employees?

If you are interested in the safety of your employees and members of their household, you might opt for this type of insurance protection.

Collective combined insurance of employees refers to the combination of types of economic protection against consequences of injuries sustained at work, during travel to and from work, as well as during everyday activities.

This insurance also provides protection against the most serious consequence of an illness that may overtake anyone of your employees.

All employees are insured under same conditions. Premium is paid monthly or annually, as a single payment. As a rule, the employer contracts insurance of employees.

In case the company you work with did not purchase this insurance or you want to ensure higher protection for yourself, you may take out the policy on the basis of the list of interested persons. In this case, you pay the premium yourself, on a monthly basis, through pay deductions.

How to insure your household members?

Household members may be insured as part of collective insurance of employees, under same conditions.

Persons between the age of 14 and 75 are eligible to arrange for this type of insurance protection. Insured may be also members of a separated household (children, parents and other persons not living in the same household with the employee) up to 75 years of age.

Premium for household members shall be paid by the employee, on a monthly basis through pay deductions.

Example of collective insurance of members of a separated household

Death by accident 300,000.00
Permanent disability 600,000.00

Besides collective insurance you can also purchase, as a separate policy - insurance of drivers, passengers and workers who run your motor vehicles or are transported therein.

By combining these two types of products you ensure higher level of security, since in case an accident occurs, you are entitled to indemnification under all policies.
